David Siambanes, D.O., is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with fellowship training in both pediatric orthopedics at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and reconstructive spine surgery at the University of Southern California. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University.

He is the founder of Scoliosis Care and serves as director of the Scoliosis Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital — one of the Tampa Bay region’s most respected programs for pediatric and adult spinal deformity care. He also directs the Motion Analysis Lab, where objective biomechanical data guides individualized surgical planning for patients with complex movement disorders and spinal conditions.

His practice serves patients of all ages, from infants and children to adults who are managing scoliosis for the first time or seeking more effective treatment after years of watching and waiting.

Previously, Dr. Siambanes served as Director of Education, Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, and Vice Chair of the Department of Orthopedics at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in California. He was the primary pediatric orthopedic surgeon for Riverside County’s division of California Children’s Services, where he was deeply involved in the orthopedic management of cerebral palsy and its effects on the walking child — work that shaped his commitment to the most complex and underserved patient populations.

Dr. Siambanes served as Co-chairman of the Medical Advisory Team for the Children’s Spine Foundation and as President of the Spine Section of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He is a member of the Scoliosis Research Society and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, and has presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals throughout his career.

He is also a physician and co-designer of the Daytona Deformity System — a state-of-the-art scoliosis instrumentation platform that combines surgical precision with practical simplicity. It is the same system he uses in his own practice today.
